Notice version 1 · Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
Privacy and your data rights
Plain terms. You are handing us health information, which deserves a clear account of what happens to it.
Who holds your data
NutrifyYourGut is the data fiduciary. Reach the person responsible at hello@nutrifyyourgut.com.
What we collect and why
- Gut check answers — to produce your score and, if you consent, to follow up.
- Account and contact details — to run your account and reach you about sessions.
- Daily logs: meals, stool type, symptoms — so your nutritionist can adjust your protocol. This is health information and is treated as such.
- Booking and payment records — to deliver and account for what you paid for. Card details never touch our servers; Razorpay handles them.
Consent
We ask before processing health information, and we record when you agreed and to what. Withdraw at any time by writing to us or deleting your account in the app. Withdrawal stops future processing; it does not undo advice already given.
Your rights
- Access — download everything we hold, from Account in your app.
- Correction — edit your details, or ask us to fix anything you cannot.
- Erasure — delete your account and every log, immediately and permanently.
- Grievance — write to hello@nutrifyyourgut.com. We respond within thirty days.
- Nominate — name someone to exercise these rights if you cannot.
Retention
Logs and clinical notes are kept while your account is active and for three years after your last session, which is how long professional records should be available. Assessment answers from people who never became clients are deleted after twelve months.
Who else sees it
Your nutritionist. Our hosting provider, which stores the database. Razorpay, for payments. Nobody else, and we do not sell anything to anybody.
What this service is not
Nutrition advice, not medical diagnosis or treatment. It does not replace your doctor, and there are symptoms we will always refer onward rather than manage.
